Designing a custom solution for Moore Stephens Markhams Wairarapa (MSMW) Accounting

Accounting used to mean having a good grasp of numbers and an eye for detail – but now, good accountants also need to keep up with the latest advancements in accounting technology.

Moore Stephens Markhams Wairarapa (MSMW) wanted to do just that. The Masterton-based firm provides accounting and advisory services to businesses in the area, with a focus on farming and agribusiness clients. Their IT set up got the job done, but was slowing down day-to-day processes for the firm.

When our friends at Innova Palmerston North were faced with the task of moving to a new office our consultants Jason Short and Rogan Boyle were super excited to get stuck into the job. We had existing knowledge of their current office and cable set up and the expertise to carry out the move efficiently. Easing some of the stress that comes with an office relocation.

Bankside Chambers is based in the Lumley Centre in Auckland, and is home to a group of some of New Zealand’s most highly regarded legal and barrister teams.

Think Concepts were approached in December by Bankside Chambers as two full sized network communications cabinets needed to be relocated as a result of renovations occurring in the chambers. 

Cardrona Rest Home is the pilot project for a site-wide prescription tracking system. Think Concepts completed the solution under half the total cost of other providers’ estimates using the latest technology, secure internet and best practices throughout.

In today’s business environment it is crucial to have internet connectivity to ensure the smooth running of your business. A lot of planning goes into office openings, relocations, store openings and other important project's but despite all the planning the proficiency of an internet connection can make or break a projects success. We like to think outside the box to find solutions to minimise the risk of a poor connection.

We have recently completed an exciting project for our client North West Shopping Centre (NWSC) providing to them with an independent network environment from their DNZ head office and our premium support through a maintenance contract. Our clients needed a new IT infrastructure, hardware, and a solution for it to work cohesively as efficiently as possible. We have helped them achieve this by setting up one server running three virtual servers, one network attached storage array, three printers, five laptops, seven desktops and further supporting gear. Jennifer Andrews, the NWSC Centre Manager, chose to go with Think Concepts for the project because she knew what to expect after having dealt with us in the past, she knew that we deliver.

If you are a multi-site business and have offices located close to each other you may be able to link your sites wirelessly with a point to point link. They also have the potential to provide emergency internet to your sites when circumstances could threaten WiFi usage.

We helped to convert St Therese School over to Office 365 when they needed a replacement for their onsite server based email platform.

Moore Stephens Markhams decided to transfer over to VoIP when they found that their existing phone system was becoming unreliable, time consuming to manage, and a business risk. They called in Think Concepts to do a full analysis of the costs of their phone system and how that would change if they were to move to VoIP. The savings were apparent and VoIP was the perfect solution!
