Let’s move for Movember

You’ve probably heard about the Movember fundraising campaign that raises awareness around men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate, and testicular cancer. It’s a great cause and one we’re passionate about here at Think Concepts. After all, we’ve got lots of great men in our team and we want to support them.

So, to get behind the Movember cause, the Think Concepts team are raising money by either growing a moustache or participating in ‘Move for Movember’ which is all about getting out and about and doing some walking or running over the month of November and recording the distance.
We know that working from home can be detrimental for mental health, so we’re encouraging our team to do something good for their mental health and support Movember at the same time.

Our goal
We’ve set a target for each team member participating to run or walk 60km or more this month. That’s 60km for the 60 men lost to suicide each hour, every hour, across the world. Men are dying before their time.
Our team are encouraged to walk to nearby cafes to increase their step count because we believe mental health is a key part of being happy at work and we want to actively support our team to be well.

Can you help us?
Movember’s mental health programmes are changing and saving lives, but they need to reach more men – that’s where you come in.
By visiting our fundraising page you can follow our progress and donate to help support the cause.
With the money you donate, we can support Movember’s groundbreaking health projects for all the dads, brothers, sons, and friends in our lives.
We are proud to say we have already raised $805.00 towards our target of $1,000. Please feel free to share the link above with anyone else who would like to participate or donate.

We’d like to encourage you and your team to get involved too. It’s really easy to set up and a great way to unite the team for a good cause.
