How does a discovery session work?
With over 14 years’ experience servicing the IT requirements of New Zealand Businesses Think Concepts have all the valuable advice to offer you. First one of our consultants will meet you on site to discuss your thoughts. By listening to what you want to achieve and your ideas of how to get there, we can advise what options will and won’t work and provide plenty of other alternative suggestions that you may not have considered. We can also give you an estimate on the likely cost of the different alternatives.
Once you have decided on the type of service you want, we will send you through an agenda for the day so you can have the appropriate staff available. At the conclusion of the meeting we will send you a full report with recommendations, costs and timeframes. We can also assist you through the process of purchasing any extra hardware or software that may be required.
Why have a discovery session?
We developed this consultation service after meeting a number of clients who had commissioned IT companies to replace their infrastructure plans but then did not follow through with what was recommended. Reasons being time restraints and worrying about the risk or costs. Other clients had ideas of what they wanted to do but didn’t know how best to achieve the desired outcome. Before you go to the expense of over paying thousands of dollars to your existing provider, find out whether what you are planning is within your budget and also whether there are other options to consider.
How much does it cost?
We have three packages that you can invest in or we can tailor a package to your individual circumstance. Our consultation costs are $150/hour including GST, and most people find they have all the answers they require after 2-3 hours with a Think Concepts Consultant. If you go ahead with a managed service contract and choose Think Concepts to do the job, we will refund the cost of the consultation.
